Day One
Travel to Iceland on a non-stop flight from Denver.
Day Two
Downtown Reykjavik. Historical walking tour. This is the perfect time to shop, as well as visit the famous church; Hallgrimskirkja. You will have free time to explore the city as well.
End the night with Icelands newest hot spring; the Sky Lagoon. ENjoy the hot pools while looking over the ocean and the skyline of Reykjavik.
Day Three
Laugarvatn Bread Demonstration. watch traditional Icelandic Rye bread be made by using geothermal heat. Eat some of the best rye bread while enjoying the views of lake Laugarvatn.
One of the few places in the world where you can see a geysir, the most famous one in ICeland is Haukadalur Geysir. We don't have to wait too long to see the eruption, as it erupts every 4-10 minutes.
Enjoy your first of many waterfalls in ICeland. Gullfoss Waterfall is a massive and stunning waterfall. ENjoy some free time to get all sorts of views of this amazing waterfall.
Enjoy some time walking thru Thingerville National Park, the park where you can walk thru the tectonic plates.
Nauthólsvík Geothermal Beach - a fun local beach that has some great views of the city, but is also a natural hot spring. This is also right next to the restaurants.
Day Four
Learn all about Iceland in a fun way, by visiting the LAVA Museum. Learn about how ICeland was formed and visit hands on exhibts to learn all about the volcanoes of ICeland.
Seljalandafoss, one of the many waterfalls on your trip to ICeland. Walk around and even behind this beautiful waterfall, and even take a short walk to a beautiful waterfall inside of a cave that is nearby.
The last waterfall for today, the massive Skogafoss. You can enjoy the waterfall from below, or take a hike to get to the very top of it.
Day Five
Just a short distance away from Vik is one of the most beautiful canyons you will ever see. Fjarðarárgljúfur Viewpoint, where there is a little walking trail along with viewing platforms to let you see all of the canyon.
Take a beautiful boat ride thru Glacier Lagoon. Get up close with many of the massive glaciers, and if your lucky, get to see some puffins, seals, and other wildlife.
After our glacier tour we can visit Diamond Beach, where little glaciers wash up on the black sand shore. A great place to walk around and explore.
Day Six
Ferry to Vestmannaeyjar Island - enjoy free time on the island with beautiful landscapes, you can rent a bike, or enjoy a walk on the island!
After lunch, enjoy a little walk around Dyrholaey, also known as the the hill island with the door hole. IT will give us some great views of the black sand beaches and some stunning landscape.
The most famous attraction in Vik, Reynisfjara Beach. We can spend some time exploring the famous black sand beach along with the checkered rock landscape.
This evening attend a Icelandic lava show. The show recreates a volcano eruption, similar to what Eyjafjallajökull and Katla volcano are famous for, by pouring molten lava (1100°C / 2000°F) into the showroom and over ice. It is an epic battle between the elements and a unique opportunity to get close to red-hot lava, see it flowing, hear it sizzling, and feel the intense heat that radiates from it.
Day Seven
End your ICeland trip at the famous Blue Lagoon. Spend a few hours soaking in the famous blue milky water before we go onto our plane.
