ITINERARY

Day One & Two
Fly to Cape Town from Salt Lake City and other select cities. Afternoon Nonstop to Amsterdam and then nonstop to Cape Town. Arrival in late evening of Day 2.

Day Three
Enjoy drive by city tour of Cape town. Then visit Table Mountain and enjoy incredible views from the cable car ride (weather permitting).

This afternoon we will board the MSC river cruise to Namibia. Enjoy views from your cruise ship of the Cape Town port-one of the most beautiful ports in the world.

Day Four to Seven

Enjoy a cruise to Namibia with a port stop in Walvis, Bay Namibia. Sit back and relax, and enjoy the scenic view from your balcony!

 

Walvis Bay has become the main port of entry into Namibia. Exhibits at the local museum illustrate the history of the town and the indigenous Topnaar people. The lagoon on the outskirts of Walvis Bay is home to flocks of flamingos and pelicans which feed here. Enjoy optional cruise excursions purchased with the ship. Then, depart back to Cape Town as your cruise continues.

Disembark from your cruise in the morning of Day 7. Enjoy coastal drive to Hout Bay, along Champmans Peak as you travel to Cape Point. Then, its time top visit the Penguins at Boulders Beach! This afternoon, fly to Johannesburg to begin your Safari adventure!

Day Eight

Begin your adventure in our drive to Kruger National Park. You’ll have a stop at the Union Building, the capital building of South Africa in Pretoria. This was where Nelson Mandela was inaugurated as president of South Africa.

Sit back and relax through the gorgeous African countryside. Enjoy a cultural show and a wonderful dinner.

Day Nine

Start the day with a beautiful panoramic tour including a view to God’s Window with its beautiful Waterfall. God’s Window majestic cliffs plunge over 1/2 mile to the Lowveld and the game reserves which have made the area one of Africa’s prime wildlife destinations.

From this vantage point a 150 mile long rampart of sheer cliffs – opens a vista into a plush forest. On a clear day it is possible to see over the Kruger National Park towards the Lebombo Mountains on the border with Mozambique. End today with free time and some optional activities.

Day Ten

This morning, get ready for your first safari experience on a game drive in Kruger Park. The animals are waiting! The afternoon features another game drive in magnificent Kruger National Park.

Day Eleven

Full day Safari in 4 x 4 vehicles with a professional game ranger. Kruger National Park is one of the largest game reserves in Africa. The world-renowned Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa.

It covers 7,332 sq mi and extends 220 mi from north to south and 37 mi from east to west. All the big five (lion, elephant, water buffalo, leopard, and rhino) are found here. Here we will experience the Africa that we have long dreamed of.

Day Twelve

Another full day exploring Kruger with its birds, rhinos, impalas, wildebeest, leopards, hippos and so much more.

Day Thirteen

Transfer after breakfast to Johannesburg after a wonderful time in the outback of Africa. A scenic transfer will give you some time to relax after being on an exciting safari adventure. Your international flight back to the USA leaves later this evening. (Johannesburg to Paris, Paris to Salt Lake City)

Day Fourteen

Arrive back home with some incredible memories and adventures to share!
