Day One
Fly in the evening from LAX to prepare for your overnight flight to Curitiba to begin your adventure.
Day Two
Afternoon arrival to Curitiba, Brazil. Curitiba has a population of 2 million inhabitants and boasts a european flair. Curitiba is mostly inhabited by European descendants, from countries including Portugal, Spain, Germany, Italy, Ukraine and Poland. Transportation to your hotel.
Day Three
Take a scenic train ride to Morretes, a charming town located along the Atlantic coast, known for its colonial architecture, historical sites and delicious cuisine. Upon arrival, embark on a walking tour of the town and explore the streets, visit local shops, and sample some of the town's specialties. (B)
Day Four
Get ready for a fun-filled day! Transfer to Ilha do Mel, a stunning island located off the coast of Paraná state. Enjoy a relaxing boat tour of the island, admire the picturesque scenery, and soak up the sun. In the evening, transfer back to Curitiba. (B)
Day Five
This day is dedicated to exploring Curitiba. Free morning--optional church services available. In the afternoon, take a city tour of Curitiba, including Tingui Park, Tangua Park, the Wired Operah, the Cathedral, and the Botanical Garden Temple. (B)
Day Six
Transfer to the airport and fly to Iguacu Falls. Upon arrival, visit the Itaipu Dam, one of the largest hydroelectric power plants in the world, and marvel at its size and engineering feat. Later in the day, take a city tour of Foz, and explore the local sights and sounds. (B)
Welcome to Iguacu Falls, the world's largest waterfall system, a UNESCO world heritage site. The surrounding rainforest has over 2000 varieties of plants. The region is home to giant anteaters, howler monkeys, ocelots, jaguars and caymans. The area is home to over 400 species of birds. Unwind today at the “Sanma Hotel by Noble”, located near the entrance of Iguacu national park. (B)
Day Seven
Today, visit the Iguacu waterfalls on the Brazil side, one of the most famous natural wonders in the world. Embark on a Macuco Safari and get an up-close view of the falls. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and a Latin America Show at Restaurant Rafain. (B,D)
Day Eight
Explore the Argentina side of the Iguacu waterfalls, a breathtaking natural wonder. (B)
Day Nine
Visit Parque das Aves in the morning, a bird park showcasing over 300 species of birds from around the world. In the afternoon, transfer to Rio and embark on a walking tour of the city. In the evening, attend an optional visit to the Rio temple of the Church of Jesus Christ. (B)
Day Ten
Explore exciting Rio de Janeiro. Our tour today includes the world famous, “Sugar Loaf” cable car ride followed by a hilltop visit to the, “Christ Redeemer” statue. Evening optional visit to the Rio de Janeiro Church of Jesus Christ temple. (B)
Day Eleven
Spend the morning relaxing at the beach or exploring the neighborhood. After checking out of the hotel, embark on a walking tour of Rio, visiting famous landmarks and learning about the city's rich history. In the evening, transfer to the airport. (B)
Day Twelve:
Arrive back in Los Angeles, and your exciting journey through Brazil comes to an end. Thank you for traveling with us!
