July 13- Day at Sea

July 14 - Stavanger, Norway

Perched on Norway's dramatic western coast, Stavenger is a city full of historic architecture, quaint cafes and ocean views.

Today, hike to Preikestolen, the "Preacher's Pulpit," (5 miles round-trip) a rocky natural viewing point overlooking Lyse Fjord, the most famous hike in Norway. If you are not into hiking, then you can Check out Gamle Stavanger, the picturesque old town, where you'll find well-preserved wooden buildings dating back to the 18th century painted in unique pastel hues. Cruise to Stavanger to learn more about the Vikings at the Museum of Archaeology, or visit 12th-century Stavanger Cathedral — thanks to a series of rebuilding efforts over the years, it features architectural elements from Romanesque to ornate Baroque. Then, take the short trip to Prekestol, the "Preacher's Pulpit," a rocky natural viewing point overlooking Lyse Fjord.

July 15 - Flam, Norway

Arriving in Flam feels like stepping into a fairy tale. Home to only 350 inhabitants, the village is situated at the inner end of the Aurlandsfjorden, the world's deepest fjord reaching a staggering 1,308 meters. Your journey begins with a picturesque drive through the winding roads of Aurlandsfjord. As you ascend, you'll be treated to stunning views of the fjord, cascading waterfalls, and lush green landscapes. The road itself is an attraction, as it's considered one of the most beautiful in the world. The tour's highlight is the visit to the Stegastein Viewpoint, a marvel of modern architecture. The viewpoint juts out from the mountainside, providing an almost gravity-defying platform for you to take in the awe-inspiring views. From this vantage point, you'll have a bird's-eye view of the Aurlandsfjord, a branch of the Sognefjord, often referred to as the "King of the Fjords." The panoramic scenery includes serene blue waters, soaring cliffs, and snow-capped peaks.

July 16 - Alesund, Norway

Alesund is a small but lively city with a unique modern feel. A rebuilding effort following a major fire in 1904 gave the city its distinctive Art Nouveau — or "Jugendstil" — architectural style, defined its ornate details, asymmetrical facades and curving forms meant to resemble plants, animals and flowers. Today you can choose between biking or kayaking in some of the beautiful scenery in Scandinavia.

July 17 - Bergen, Norway

Set against the backdrop of seven mountains, Bergen's natural beauty and historical charm will stop you in your tracks. Stroll through the Bryggen neighborhood, with its medieval cobblestone alleyways and red, yellow and white painted houses. Enjoy the Bergen Walking Tour, a captivating exploration of Bergen, Norway's historical and contemporary facets. It begins at Bryggen Wharf, where centuries-old Hanseatic buildings stand, and continues through medieval sites like Bergenhus Fortress. The tour also embraces modern elements, including the lively Fish Market and cultural attractions, all while showcasing Bergen's natural beauty and hidden gems, offering a comprehensive experience of this charming city.
